Hi, I’m Dixie West — creator of the Tuk Tuk Happy series.

I write gentle, uplifting stories that help children see the world through kindness, courage, and curiosity. Each Tuk Tuk tale is designed to make young readers smile, while offering parents and teachers a story with heart, humour, and positive values at its core.

The idea for Tuk Tuk Happy began with a simple question: what if the little vehicles that carry so many people’s stories had their own stories to tell?
From that spark grew a colourful world of friendship and adventure — set in the quiet English town of Thimbleby, where every tuk tuk has a voice and a heart of its own.

My hope is that these stories travel as far as the tuk tuks themselves — bringing fun, laughter, and a little bit of magic wherever they go.
